Ugurcan Cakir, Türkiye's goalkeeper, was sent off late on after a VAR review for handling the ball outside his penalty area against France.
According to L'Équipe, the referee first allowed play to continue, the infringement not being obvious, then checked the footage and produced a red card in the 87th minute.
