"I spent two weeks learning English and playing football. By chance I was there when the semi-final and the final were being played, but I only found out recently that the coach’s son, Alberto de la Fuente, was also at that camp," he told Radio Marca.

He was at an Athletic camp in Leicester while Spain faced the Netherlands in Johannesburg.
