Under-15s and Under-17s win 3-1 in the Campeonato Paulista

This Saturday (29), the U-15 and U-17 teams returned to action at CFA Laudo Natel and came away with wins in the Paulista Championship. The U-15 side beat Inter de Limeira 3-1 with goals from Luisinho, Yahgo, and Lucas Jorge. Afterwards, the U-17 team won by the same scoreline, this time against Paulinense, with goals from Pedro Ruan, João Arthur, and an own goal.

U-15 The squad came out firing and opened the scoring in the very first minute, after Luisinho converted a penalty. In the 18th minute, after a well-worked move, Lucas Jorge found Yahgo, who scored Tricolor’s second goal. In the 28th minute, Ruann scored an own goal and cut São Paulo’s lead.

After the break, in the seventh minute, Lucas Jorge took advantage of a defensive rebound and scored the third goal, sealing a 3-1 win for São Paulo.

U-17 The U-17 side applied pressure from the start and created good chances, but only opened the scoring in the 24th minute, when Júlio found Pedro Ruan, who fired a fine shot into the top corner. In the 28th minute, Hiago made a great individual play, beat several defenders, and cut the ball back. The opposing center back got a touch on it and scored an own goal, extending Tricolor’s lead. In the 32nd minute, the visitors pulled one back.

In the second half, the São Paulo side kept control and continued creating good chances. In the 24th minute, they were rewarded when Mendes set up João Arthur to score his first goal of the season.
