The 49-year-old wrote: „Thank you for your support! See you at the World Cup!“ A message that quickly caught the attention of Bayern fans

The background: the Instagram story featured the music video for Shakira’s new song „Dai Dai“, the official song of the World Cup, which takes place from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Canada and Mexico

The four Bayern stars are part of the clip and have thus made their contribution to the major World Cup campaign. Reason enough for Shakira to publicly thank the Munich quartet

The music video for „Dai Dai“ features Díaz, Kane, Musiala and Davies alongside other top international stars. Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior also appear in the clip

Right at the beginning of the video, the players signal that the tournament can begin with the English phrase „We are ready“. Later, the Bayern professionals appear again and can be seen in a sequence with the ball

For FC Bayern, taking part in an official World Cup song is also exciting from a marketing perspective, with Díaz, Kane, Musiala and Davies representing four of the club’s best-known faces

On Instagram alone, the four Munich stars have a combined total of around 40 million followers, which is another reason why their participation should give the clip additional reach

Shakira herself reaches 96 million followers on Instagram. Her public message of thanks to the Bayern stars is therefore more than just a nice gesture. It also ensures that the German record champions gain additional international visibility in the context of the World Cup

The clip for „Dai Dai“ has already amassed 52 million views on YouTube after just one week, and the involvement of the soccer stars is likely to play a large part in the fact that the video is already attracting enormous attention

For Díaz, Kane, Musiala and Davies, appearing in the official World Cup video is certainly a special experience. Shakira has been closely associated with major soccer tournaments for many years

Back in 2010, she landed a worldwide hit for the World Cup in South Africa with „Waka Waka“, followed four years later by „La La La“ for the World Cup in Brazil, where the German national team ended up winning the title.
