Three Bundesliga clubs confirmed late-window development loans, with Union Berlin’s Oluwaseun Ogbemudia rejoining Waldhof Mannheim, Stuttgart’s Mirza Catović heading to Barcelona’s second team and Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeanuel Belocian moving to Racing Santander.
According to Get German Football News, Ogbemudia, 20, returns to the 3. Liga side for 2026/27 after a strong half-season there last term. The four-times-capped German youth international heads back to familiar surroundings where regular senior minutes should remain available, with first-team chances at Union hard to predict.
Stuttgart first extended Catović’s deal by one year to June 2029, then sent the 19-year-old midfielder on a season-long loan to Barcelona’s second team. Board member Fabian Wohlgemuth said the aim is for him to gain further experience, while Stuttgart’s deep squad limits immediate top-team opportunities.
Leverkusen have loaned 21-year-old Belocian to Spanish top-flight side Racing Santander for the season, with no purchase option reported. The defender, recently back from Wolfsburg, remains in Leverkusen’s longer-term plans.
Belocian featured in pre-season, scoring in a 4-0 win over Genk, as new head coach Carles Martínez trialled different defensive pairings. With competition for minutes intense at the BayArena, Simon Rolfes said he would still be a promising candidate for the first team on his return next year.
