Dundee United and Aberdeen drew 0-0 at Tannadice on Tuesday, a result that keeps United seventh and The Dons eighth in the Scottish Premiership.
In the eighth minute, Graeme Shinnie's low drive was held by Ashley Maynard-Brewer after Toyosi Olusanya teed him up. Panutche Camara then rattled the left post from range (18.).
United grew into it before the break, with Krisztián Keresztes heading off target from close range (38.). Tom McIntyre departed injured for The Dons shortly before the interval (44.).
After the restart, Kevin Nisbet shot wide on the counter (51.). A double change lifted United around the hour, as Ryan Strain and Max Watters injected pace (59.), and Amar Fatah twice went close from open play.
Per Kristian Worre Braatveit preserved the point late on, saving Keresztes' header from the centre of the box (86.). United forced corners in added time but Aberdeen's back line blocked and cleared under pressure.
United attempted 15 shots, hitting the target twice. The Dons produced 12 attempts and also registered two on target.
Next, United visit Motherwell. The Dons travel to Hearts.
