Unseen hero's late header rescues Kilmarnock at Dundee Utd

Marley Watkins levelled in the first minute of second half stoppage time with a glancing header, earning Kilmarnock a 1-1 draw at Dundee Utd.

He met Greg Kiltie's cross and guided a header into the top left from the centre of the box, a precise finish that finally beat the United goalkeeper.

Introduced at half-time, Watkins gave Kilmarnock a clearer focal point. He won two aerials and five possessions, and made two tackles as pressure built.

His display was tidy on the ball too, completing 10 of 14 passes. Crucially, his only attempt was on target – and it found the net.

With Kilmarnock's wide supply landing consistently, his penalty-box movement paid off at the decisive moment, turning a narrow defeat into a result on the road.
