Barcelona knew there would be interest in Roony Bardghji, but what they may not have expected was the sheer number of clubs already positioning themselves to sign him.
According to SPORT, the Swedish winger has become one of the most sought-after young players on the market, with clubs from England, Spain, Italy and elsewhere in Europe all monitoring his situation ahead of a likely summer departure.
The expectation within Barcelona is that Bardghji will continue his development away from Camp Nou next season.
The club remain convinced about his long-term potential, but they also understand that regular first-team football is the next step in his growth.
That is why a loan move remains the preferred solution, although Barcelona are also open to exploring other formulas, including a permanent transfer with a buy-back clause.

The outlet reports that up to six Premier League sides have already contacted Barcelona to gather information about the winger’s situation.
In that regard, the likes of Leeds United, Aston Villa, Sunderland, Brighton, Brentford and Everton are all said to be interested in bringing Bardghji to England.
In fact, several of those clubs have also been in touch with the player’s representatives.
As such, Barcelona have given him the freedom to choose the destination that best suits his development, although the club would ideally prefer him to join a side where he can continue growing in a competitive environment.
On the other hand, beyond the interest from England, Juventus, Porto, Monaco, Ajax and Olympique de Marseille are also keeping a close eye on developments, while Real Betis could emerge as an option as well.

However, it is also true that English clubs are capable of offering stronger salary packages and may also be more willing to agree to transfer structures that include future buy-back options for Barcelona.
For Barcelona, the objective is to place Bardghji in the best possible environment to accelerate his development while ensuring they do not lose control of a player even if he leaves on a permanent transfer.
With interest arriving from multiple leagues and several ambitious projects on the table, Bardghji is now assessing his options alongside his entourage.
Barcelona, meanwhile, would prefer a quick resolution because the club is keen to finalise the player’s future so they can continue shaping their plans for the season ahead.
