The Argentine talent is currently among the most experienced centre-forwards in European football. Furthermore, he is a free agent at the moment, which has made him an affordable option for Spurs to consider this year.

Icardi has proven himself to be a consistent goal-scorer in the Turkish Super Lig. However, there are some question marks over whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League.

Icardi is proficient at finding some space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates to find the back of the net and is a powerful runner with the ball.

The Argentine sensation can be a streaky goal-getter in front of the opponent’s goal when he is playing regularly and with confidence on the pitch. However, only time will tell whether he can cope with the physical demands and high intensity of the Premier League.

Tottenham have struggled to score goals in the Premier League this season, so Roberto De Zerbi should think about changing the club’s stance on Icardi. The Argentine sensation is good enough to secure a regular first-team spot at the North London club.
