USM Alger is gearing up for its sixth Algerian Super Cup final, set to face off against city rivals MC Alger this Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 4pm GMT. The showdown will take place at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki.

The Red and Blacks have only won two out of their five appearances in the competition. Their triumphs came in 2013 against ES Sétif (2-0), and again by the same scoreline against MC Alger in 2016.

The capital club has suffered three setbacks: against RC Kouba (3-1) in 1981, MC Alger (1-0) in 2014, and CR Belouizdad (2-1) in 2019.
