Valencia confirm Renzo Saravia signing until end of season | OneFootball

Valencia have signed Renzo Saravia until the end of the season after he passed a medical, the club said in a statement.

The 32-year-old right back arrives to cover Dimitri Foulquier’s long-term absence. Valencia have replaced Foulquier’s registration due to the severity of his injury.

Saravia was a free agent after leaving Atlético Mineiro in January. He returns to Europe after a quiet spell with FC Porto and will aim to prove he deserves a longer stay.

Born in Córdoba on 16/06/1993, he has also played for Botafogo, Internacional, Racing Club and Belgrano, and earned caps for Argentina during his Porto period.

The announcement featured a video of Lucas Beltrán pouring mate with the caption "Conexión Córdoba", a nod to both sharing roots in the same Argentine region that has produced several Valencia greats.
