Valencia hold Paterna squad barbecue, Aguirre’s first of his tenure | OneFootball

Valencia CF ended Thursday’s work with a squad barbecue at Paterna after training under Javier Aguirre. The gathering came during the international break with 10 days until the trip to Racing de Santander.

According to Superdeporte, Guido Rodríguez, Pepelu and Jesús Vázquez were among the players seen helping to prepare the food. It was the first barbecue of Aguirre’s tenure.

The meal alone does not guarantee results, nor does it resolve Valencia’s delicate run, but it projected unity in the dressing room in Aguirre’s opening weeks. The Mexican coach faces the task of lifting a group hit by a start well below expectations.
