Valencia head to Bilbao for what they regard as the season's most important away day, chasing vital points in the survival battle. The dressing room has pushed a message of unity before facing Athletic Club.

According to Superdeporte, the squad gathered in Paterna before flying north, determined to move past the home defeat to Atlético de Madrid and push beyond the 40-point mark.

Three injured players have travelled to support the group despite being unavailable. Lucas Beltrán, Thierry Rendall and Dimitri Foulquier are with the team, with Foulquier not registered due to his long-term injury.

Carlos Corberán's side travel almost at full strength, the only absences are Mouctar Diakhaby and Copete. Academy pair Rubén Iranzo and David Otorbi are included. Julen Agirrezabala is the new face in the squad after a long meniscus lay-off.

Valencia have called up 24 players for Sunday's match at San Mamés, kick-off 16:15, in LaLiga's matchday 35. The trip is framed by the need to add points after earlier results in the round.
