Valencia release Ruzafa video to introduce Guido Rodríguez as pre-season begins | OneFootball

Valencia announced on Friday the signing of Guido Rodríguez on a two-year contract with an option for a third, and today released a Ruzafa-set video to introduce him. The club expect to present him later this week.

The clip features the Argentina international riding through the city in a car, with the neighbourhood taking centre stage.

Rodríguez reported to the Paterna training complex this morning to start pre-season with his team-mates. He completed physical tests, then headed to IMED hospital for his stress tests, a check the rest of the squad undertook last week.

He is delighted to be back, eager to contribute and to get pre-season under way.

His return has energised supporters after the impact he made during the months he featured last season.

Carlos Corberán had expressly requested his signing, viewing the midfielder as a trusted option to reinforce the centre of the pitch.

Valencia are continuing a city-themed rollout of new arrivals, having previously showcased De Haas with an El Cabanyal backdrop.
