Vangelis Pavlidis named December Player and Forward of the Month in Liga Betclic | OneFootball

Vangelis Pavlidis collected the Liga Betclic 2025/26 Player of the Month and Forward of the Month awards for December 2025, presented by Liga Portugal at the Benfica Campus on Monday, 26 January.

According to Glorioso 1904, the honours recognised his influence across four league fixtures, Sporting at home, Moreirense away, Famalicão at home and Braga away, all started by the striker.

Across 334 minutes he scored four goals and supplied one assist.

Coaches in the competition gave him 21.37% of votes for Player of the Month and 25.23% for Forward of the Month, making him the preferred choice among Portuguese football professionals.

The 25-year-old Greece international has been one of Benfica’s standout performers this season, with 36 appearances, 19 in Liga Portugal Betclic, 11 in the Champions League, three in the Taça de Portugal, two in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça.

He has played 2,899 minutes, registering 26 goals and three assists, and is valued at €35 million.
