Vasco ‘to finalise’ SportingBet as main shirt sponsor in deal to 2027 | OneFootball

Expresso 1923 reports that Vasco have moved towards a deal with SportingBet to become the club’s main shirt sponsor. Talks were revived in recent days. The agreement would run until the end of 2027, with an option for one further year.

In April the club and the betting firm held a round of negotiations, but talks cooled at that time. Figures close to Pedrinho, the club president, viewed SportingBet’s offer as low, below what Betfair were paying through 2025.

SAF CEO Carlos Amodeo is leading the discussions with SportingBet.

Vasco have been without a main shirt sponsor since the end of December. The previous partner’s exit coincided with a downturn in the advertising market, particularly among betting brands.

The delay in securing a new main deal created unease behind the scenes at São Januário. Pedrinho’s board had been pressing the SAF executives to land a partner for the most valuable space on the shirt.
