NT Vascaínos reports that Angolan forward Loide Augusto has returned to Vasco and is training away from the main group as the club works on a move during the current window. If no permanent deal or loan is agreed before the deadline, he will be reintegrated into the first-team squad.
The 26-year-old is under contract at São Januário until December 2027 and would resume full training under Pedro Emanuel.
Before returning to Rio de Janeiro, he spent his latest loan at Rizespor in Türkiye. Vasco had signed him from Alanyaspor last year after lengthy negotiations. He featured in the Süper Lig, gained international experience and remained a regular in Angola call-ups.
Vasco are weighing the cost-benefit of keeping him for the remainder of the season, including the Campeonato Brasileiro run-in. He is following his fitness programme at the training centre while his representatives seek proposals at home and abroad.
The coaching staff are monitoring the market to decide whether to add another wide option. With recent injuries depleting the attack, retaining Loide is viewed internally as a cost-free in-house solution.
A resolution will come in the coming days as registration deadlines near. If no suitable offer arrives, he will compete for a place and be available for official selection.
