Sportal reports that Vasco have agreed a permanent deal with Red Star Belgrade for Brazilian striker Bruno Duarte, 30.

MaxBet Sport also reports that an agreement is in place. The fee is two million euros, up from an initial offer of one and a half million euros as the Serbian club looked to recoup its outlay from Farense.

His departure had been considered inevitable in Serbia, with new head coach Albert Riera not counting on him. He is expected in Brazil to become the focal point in attack for Pedro Emanuel during the Campeonato Brasileiro and upcoming knockout fixtures.

The move addresses an immediate priority for Vasco to add penalty-box presence. With the CBF transfer window closing, the club accelerated medicals and contract formalities and is preparing registration to integrate him quickly at CT Moacyr Barbosa.

A Palmeiras academy graduate, Bruno Duarte has played abroad since 2018, featuring for Vitória de Guimarães and Farense in Portugal, Lviv in Ukraine and Damac in Saudi Arabia before joining Red Star.

Across two seasons in Belgrade he made 98 appearances, scoring 42 goals and supplying 14 assists.
