Vasco v Olimpia: Thiago Mendes, Gómez and Cuiabano ruled out | OneFootball

Vasco have announced their squad for Thursday's Copa Sudamericana third group-stage match against Olimpia, with Thiago Mendes, Andrés Gómez and Cuiabano unavailable. According to Globo.com, all three are out after the Corinthians match.

Mendes and Cuiabano sustained issues following that fixture. Mendes has progressed well from a sprain to his right ankle and is already training on the pitch, but he will be rested for the Olimpia tie.

Cuiabano underwent imaging on Monday 27 that showed oedema in the left posterior thigh. He is receiving intensive physiotherapy and has begun controlled work on the pitch.

Gómez suffered a knock to his left thigh against Corinthians. As a precaution, the Colombian will also be rested for the Olimpia game.

Vasco's squad includes goalkeepers Léo Jardim, Daniel Fuzato and Pablo. Defenders are Lucas Piton, Puma Rodríguez, Paulo Henrique, Robert Renan, Alan Saldivia, Lucas Freitas, Riquelme Avellar and Walace Fernandes.

Midfielders are Tchê Tchê, Hugo Moura, Cauan Barros, Matheus França, Johan Rojas, Lukas Zuccarello and Ramon Rique. Forwards are Adson, David, Brenner, Claudio Spinelli, Nuno Moreira and Marino Hinestroza.
