Serie A giants Juventus picked up a 4-3 win over Inter on Saturday courtesy of youngster Vasilije Adzic stunning stoppage time winner.
It was the youngster’s first goal in Bianconeri colours and hype is growing around his abilities, having made his first-team debut for the club in the 2024/25 season.
Igor Tudor has clearly trusted the 19-year-old to make an impact and his agent Igor Gluscevic has now spoken to Gianluca di Marzio about the talent.
When asked about Adzic’s debut goal, he said: “He’s a lad with so much quality, with an enormous hunger that has helped him stay alive during the difficult period he’s been through.”
“He’s had a few injuries that have kept him from performing at his best, but he’s continued to work. Celebration? He’ll be the one to say what he meant. He was definitely overjoyed.”
Speaking of the talent’s relationship with Tudor, Gluscevic said: “First of all, the goal was to get back to training and playing regularly. Tudor said during the summer that the only player he didn’t want him to move was Vasilije . He’s very important to us. He’s a coach who believes in him and understands his qualities.”
The agent also revealed that Bologna were keen on signing the attacking midfielder in the summer but the player himself rejected the move.
“Bologna really wanted the boy , but when the time came to decide, his father Jovan asked him what decision he wanted to make.”
“He said ‘I want to play with the best, Juventus’. An 18-year-old boy normally can’t get minutes so easily with Juventus , he wanted to take this step for his career.”
Adzic has now made ten appearances in all competitions for Juventus and is now expected to feature more often for the Old Lady.
