Sebastian Hoeneß has addressed speculation linking him with Manchester City, Liverpool and AC Milan, saying such attention is normal given Stuttgart’s recent progress.

“It is to some extent normal that the successful work we are doing here together is noticed by other clubs.” He told Sport Bild.

“That’s how the business works, and it was the same in previous summers. So it would not be surprising if there were one or two clubs who made enquiries about me.”

The 44-year-old has impressed since taking charge in 2023, previously linked with City and Liverpool, with Milan most recently reported to have shown concrete interest.

Hoeneß remains under contract with Stuttgart until 2028.
