VfB Stuttgart interested in RB Salzburg’s Oscar Gloukh as an alternative to PAOK’s Giannis Konstantelias | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that VfB Stuttgart are interested in Red Bull Salzburg attacking midfielder Oscar Gloukh.

The Salzburg player is seen as an alternative to PAOK’s Giannis Konstantelias, whose move to Stuttgart looks more and more in doubt as the Thessaloniki side’s owner vetoed the 22-year-old’s impending move to the Bundesliga.

Stuttgart have already made contact with Gloukh over a potential move, but they have yet to hold negotiations with Salzburg.

The current favourites to sign the 21-year-old are Ajax, who have been in talks to sign him, while Roma have also been linked lately. The price tag for Gloukh will be around €20m, a similar price to Konstantelias.

The Swabians are continuing to improve the attacking midfielder position as Enzo Millot looks increasingly likely to leave the club. Whoever joins will likely replace Millot, while early summer arrival Noah Darvich will be an option for the future.

Stuttgart have also recently boosted their midfielder options with the arrival of Chema Andrés from Real Madrid for €3m.
