Monza attacking midfielder Andrea Colpani has arrived in Tuscany to complete his medical ahead of a permanent move to Fiorentina, where he will be reunited with his old coach Raffaele Palladino.
The 25-year-old is understood to be joining La Viola on an initial loan deal at a cost of €4m, with an option to buy for an extra €12m, plus €2m in bonuses. If the move does become permanent, the total cost of the operation will rise to €18m.
The player is now in Florence, and was spotted arriving for his medial on Thursday evening.

Once that is completed, he is set to fly to the UK to team up with the rest of the Fiorentina squad, as they prepare for friendlies against Preston North End, Bolton Wanderers and Hull City over the course of the next week.
Monza have already identified Colpani’s possible replacements, as they look to strike a deal with Milan for 2024 loanee Daniel Maldini, while Valentin Carboni remains an enticing option on a re-negotiated loan deal.
