Everton striker Beto has been spotted arriving in Florence ahead of a medical with Serie A side Fiorentina as he closes in on a Toffees exit.
The Tuscan outfit identified Beto as their preferred replacement for Moise Kean, who is set to join Como, after facing difficulties in landing Joshua Zirkzee.
La Viola are understood to be paying a fee of around €17m to the Toffees to secure the services of the striker, who will be ending his time at the Hill Dickinson as a result.

Beto made 113 appearances across all competitions in Everton colours since arriving in 2023, but never really provided the reliable and prolific goalscorer the Toffees were looking for at Premier League level.
Now he is rapidly closing in on putting the finishing touches to his Fiorentina move and has been spotted arriving in Florence.
Beto already has 21 Serie A goals to his name from his spell with Udinese and now has an opportunity to re-establish himself on familiar ground.
The American is keen on joining the Toffees, with Monaco fully aware of Everton’s determination to prise him away and negotiations now taking shape between the clubs.
David Moyes’ side also have Thierno Barry on their books as another option at number nine, with the Frenchman already having found the net four times this season.

All eyes will now be on whether Beto can successfully come through the medical tests at Fiorentina and then put pen to paper to a contract with La Viola.
His departure opens the door for Balogun to join, but David Moyes is expected to be busy, with Jack Grealish also likely to join before the window closes.
