Joao Pedro has been one of the big winners from Liam Rosenior’s arrival at Chelsea.

The striker already has hit a hotter streak of form under the previous manager, and looks to be enjoying his football. He’s established himself as first choice ahead of Liam Delap, and has scored some crucial goals for his new coach.

Sky Sports had him on as their player interview ahead of tomorrow’s game, and their first question was about he differences between Rosenior and former coach Maresca.

“The first thing Rosenior he said to us was to play with intensity” JP explained.

“In the Premier League you need to play like this, because if you drop your intensity in the game you can concede. So I think everyone has started to think more about running and helping each other.”

The striker said that Rosenior had said that he wasn’t even so interested in the results, as long as his team were playing hard. We’re not sure Enzo Maresca would take kindly to the implication that he didn’t have his team running and playing with intensity. But there was a lot of very low tempo football at times under the Italian coach.

We’re hoping for something special tomorrow.

Cole Palmer has the perfect change to get right against Wolves tomorrow, if he doesn’t look at his best soon we’re going to start to get very worried.

Alejandro Garnacho is set for more minutes after the injury to Jamie Gittens – but Chelsea need to figure out how to get the best out of him. Liam Rosenior’s tactics have been blamed for some of his poor form.
