Chelsea are down to ten men as they start to implode at the Emirates. Pedro Neto had just been given a yellow for dissent a few minutes before, then decided to make a crazy tackle to try and stop a counter. He didn’t even manage to do that, hilariously.

Neto will now be banned for the game against Aston Villa next week, in a game where fellow wingers Estevao and Jamie Gittens will also be missing. So it’s a piece of stupidity that goes beyond these final 20 minutes.

Neto has become the 7th Chelsea player to be sent off this season in the Premier League alone, and the 9th in all competitions We can’t wait to be told after this game, for the 40th time in three seasons, that this Chelsea team doesn’t have a problem with discipline.

Some of these players are absolutely embarrassing themselves. These aren’t the 18 year olds getting sent off, these are serious players. This club won’t go anywhere until they get serious about this.

In other news…

Chelsea had got back into the game with a goal from a corner – but they’ve now thrown that all away.

Liam Rosenior was being teased before the game by the fourth official about his complaints in the EFL Cup game last month.

Mamadou Sarr was picked to start the game against Arsenal, a huge vote of confidence in the young defender.
