Villarreal host Levante in a Valencian derby at La Cerámica on Sunday at 18:30, a fixture both sides approach from different places but with plenty at stake.

According to Superdeporte, Villarreal finally claimed their first league win at La Rosaleda in Málaga, easing pressure after a rough start, yet they still chase a first home victory after losing their opening two at home.

Iñigo Pérez has Juan Foyth available again after injury, but Santi Comesaña is out following a heavy ankle blow in Málaga. With a quick turnaround after playing on Thursday, the coach could rotate his starting line-up.

Levante hold a small physical edge after their Wednesday meeting with Athletic Club was postponed, giving Luís Castro extra preparation time. Etta Eyong and Hugo Sotelo are out, while Thiago Fernández and Dani Requena are eligible despite being on loan from Villarreal, with no clause preventing them from playing.

Castro may restore his usual core, with Dela and Mandi in central defence and Olasa, Rey and Bardeli candidates to anchor midfield. A more attacking front three is possible, with Brugué, Iván Romero and Thiago in contention.

Probable line-ups: Villarreal, Peter Gulácsi, Álex Freeman, Pau Navarro, Renato Veiga, Carlos Romero, Nicolas Pepe, Pape Gueye, Nathan Saliba, Tajon Buchanan, Alberto Moleiro and Gerard Moreno. Levante, Ryan, Nacho Pérez, Dela, Mandi, Manu Sánchez, Rey, Olasa, Bardeli, Brugué, Iván Romero and Thiago. Referee to be confirmed.
