For the first time ever, on December 20, the LaLiga fixture between Villarreal and FC Barcelona will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The decision to move this match abroad has sparked a wave of protest in Spain for weeks. In recent hours, Dani Carvajal has publicly voiced his dissatisfaction.

"It seems to me this is a blatant distortion of the competition, as it doesn’t allow all LaLiga teams to compete under the same conditions. I believe it’s essential for us—players, clubs, and the League—to be fair. We must stand up for fairness, and I don’t think that’s the case here," declared the Spanish international in an interview with Teledeporte.
