Jordi Ferriols wants a response after the 4-0 Copa de la Reina exit to CE Europa, with attention switching to the league.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Villarreal Women visit Sport Extremadura this weekend at El Vivero in Badajoz, kick-off 12:00.

Ferriols' side have started strongly in the domestic competition and remain unbeaten, seeking to use that solidity to quickly move past the cup setback.

The ground is a demanding stage for the Castellón club, who will push for three points to reinforce their trajectory.

The fixture carries extra significance as it is the final match before the competition pauses for Spain's international fixtures.
