Villas-Boas arrives early at Olival, greets Porto squad and obliges fans

FC Porto opened their 2026/27 pre-season with André Villas-Boas arriving at Olival early to welcome the squad.

According to O Jogo, he was in shortly after seven in the morning, addressed the players and took part in the first meeting with Francesco Farioli.

The club president did not stay long at CTFD Jorge Costa, leaving shortly after eight.

Even at that hour, supporters were waiting at the gate and asked for photographs.

Villas-Boas obliged, posing for pictures and greeting fans before departing.
