Villas-Boas: Sad that only some media covered Sporting ultras arrest

André Villas-Boas responded to the arrest of three radical Sporting fans, identified as being involved in the attack on FC Porto supporters after a roller hockey match. The president of the Dragons emphasized that those responsible must be properly “punished.”

“They were surely arrested for attempted homicide and not for attempted assault. It is a sad episode. FC Porto immediately stood by the fans who were involved in this unfortunate outcome. As you well know, only some media outlets gave this episode the attention it deserved. Some preferred to omit it and its seriousness. I thank the competent authorities for continuing the investigation and for trying to find those responsible so that they are properly punished.”
