Real Madrid host Benfica at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday 25 in a Champions League play-off, with a mosaic planned to support Vini Jr, the Flamengo academy graduate, after racist abuse in the first leg.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the display will read "Não ao racismo" and "Respeito", and is expected to be shown as the teams walk out.

Vini Jr scored the winner in Lisbon, then danced near the corner flag at Estádio da Luz, angering home fans and opposition players.

Among Benfica’s players, Prestianni covered his mouth with his shirt and shouted "mono" towards Vini. The forward was booked for celebrating, while the offender went unpunished on the night.

Days later, Benfica will be without Prestianni for the second leg after the club’s appeal was rejected and his suspension upheld.

The tie resumes after two racist incidents involving Vini Jr in Madrid’s last two matches. Kick-off is 17:00 Brasília time.
