Vinicius Lima ‘to join’ Club América on loan with option | OneFootball

According to Americayya.net, Club América are close to signing Brazilian midfielder Vinícius Moreira de Lima, 29, from Fluminense. The proposed deal is a loan with an option to buy for the Clausura 2026, and talks are said to be advanced with an announcement possible within hours.

Full name Vinícius Moreira de Lima, born 11 June 1996, the 29-year-old is an attacking central midfielder who wears number 45.

A Grêmio academy product, he spent time in Brazil, Spain and the United Arab Emirates before establishing himself there after arriving in 2023. His game is attack minded, with strong reading of play, ball carrying and support for the forwards.

With the club he has won the Campeonato Carioca, the 2023 Copa Libertadores and the 2024 Recopa Sudamericana.

He has made 168 appearances, scoring 16 goals and providing 10 assists.
