Flamengo have made centre-back Vitão the second costliest signing in Brazilian football in 2026, paying 10.2 million euros (R$ 63.5 million) to Internacional.
Transfermarkt reports that Cruzeiro lead the list with Gerson at 27 million euros (R$ 170 million), a sum that could rise to 30 million euros (R$ 188 million). Also in the top five are Alan Minda, for whom Atlético-MG paid 7 million euros (R$ 44.1 million) to Brugge (BEL). Grêmio spent 6.2 million euros (R$ 39 million) on Tetê from Panathinaikos (GRE), and Palmeiras paid 5.1 million euros (R$ 32.1 million) for Marlon Freitas from Botafogo.
Vitão is Flamengo’s biggest outlay so far. Of the agreed total, four million euros related to a debt owed by Internacional that Flamengo forgave.
The dataset does not yet include Lucas Paquetá’s proposed move to Flamengo. If that agreement with West Ham is completed, the fee would take top billing.
Representatives met on Friday 16 without progress. Another meeting is scheduled for Saturday 17 to seek common ground on the club’s academy graduate, and the club intend to pay up to 45 million euros (R$ 280.3 million).
