Deco was the first, in 2004, scoring as Porto defeated Monaco 3-0.

Cristiano Ronaldo followed 13 years later, named player of the match after scoring twice in 2017 as Real Madrid beat Juventus 4-1.

Vitinha was also named in the Champions League Team of the Season, alongside PSG team-mate Nuno Mendes.
