Vitória and Corinthians drew 0-0 at Estádio Manoel Barradas on Saturday, keeping Vitória 10th and dropping Corinthians to 17th in the Brasileirão.

Late on, Hugo Souza tipped away a rising drive from Zé Vitor as Timão protected their point. Clear chances were scarce, with defences dominant throughout.

After the restart, Timão brought on Matheus Pereira and Kaio César, with Jesse Lingard and Zakaria Labyad following later, seeking fresh impetus without reward.

Stoppages for knocks to Yuri Alberto, Hugo Souza, Breno Bidon and Raniele punctuated the game, and five minutes were added in the second half.

Leão da Barra had 54.4% possession and 12 attempts, finding the target once. Timão produced seven attempts without registering a shot on target.
