Volta a Portugal winner Alexis Guérin, an FC Porto supporter, will attend a game at Estádio do Dragão.

According to O Jogo, the Frenchman has been invited by André Villas-Boas and will be at the stadium to watch Porto.

Guérin said his last dream was to take the kick-off, adding he was not sure it was possible and hoped the club would understand.

He will not take the kick-off, but may step onto the pitch before the match to be honoured and receive a personalised shirt.

Guérin will be joined by his son, travelling from France for the occasion, and by UCI Continental sporting director Rúben Pereira.

The 34-year-old has supported Porto since 2004, when he followed José Mourinho’s team to the Champions League title.
