Nice 1-1 Strasbourg on Saturday ended the hosts' six-match Ligue 1 losing streak.

Joaquín Panichelli put Le Racing ahead from the spot in the 13th minute after Abdoul Ouattara was fouled in the area. Sofiane Diop then struck the left post (24.) as Les Aiglons chased a leveller.

Sepe Elye Wahi came on at half time and equalised with a low right-footed finish into the bottom right corner (54.), converting after a pass from Melvin Michel Maxence Bard.

Mike Penders kept Strasbourg in it with five saves, twice denying Wahi during a strong spell for Les Aiglons after the restart. Maxime Dupe also stood up at the other end, stopping a Julio Enciso header to prevent a second for the visitors.

Les Aiglons carried the greater threat with 19 attempts and five corners as they pressed for a winner. Le Racing registered eight efforts and seven corners, protecting their point with organised defending.

Les Aiglons visit Nantes in the Coupe de France next. Le Racing travel to Avranches in the same competition.
