Flamengo will receive 18-year-old centre-forward Juliano Viana as part of Wallace Yan’s transfer to Red Bull Bragantino.

According to Globo.com, Viana joins on a three-year deal, with Flamengo holding 60% of his rights and an option to increase that stake during the contract. He is viewed as stylistically similar to Pedro, tall at about 1.90m, mobile and strong in his positioning.

Viana has represented Brazil at youth level and was long regarded as a Bragantino prospect. He made his senior debut in 2024, coming on midway through the second half of a 1-0 defeat to Fluminense in the 20th round of the Brasileirão, his only first-team game.

Loaned to Palmeiras for this year’s Copinha, he produced four goal contributions in five matches before elimination to Ibrachina on penalties in the quarter-finals. He was later sent back because of off-field matters.

Wallace Yan, 21, will play for Bragantino in the second half of the year. An attempted 10 million euro sale in January collapsed over payment terms, with the clubs later closing the deal at 6 million euros, about R$ 36.2 million, for 70% of his rights.
