Barcelona have released new images of the Spotify Camp Nou, showcasing the latest progress on the stadium’s ambitious renovation project.
The club have shared a video on their social media platform underlining how close they are to completing the first phase of their reopening.
The updated footage highlights that most of the essential infrastructure is already in place. Entrances and parking facilities are ready, while key safety features such as fire extinguishers, plumbing systems, and security cameras have been installed.
The electrical and water distribution networks are also fully operational, ensuring the stadium is equipped for matchday operations.
Inside, the bathrooms are complete and functioning, while the locker rooms are ready to welcome players once the doors officially open.
The benches have been fitted, and the pitch itself looks in spectacular condition, with lush green grass prepared for top-level football.
In the stands, chairs have been installed with Spotify logos behind each goal, while the rest of the seating offers the traditional Blaugrana colours of blue and red.
The club has also finished work on facilities for the media, alongside exclusive spaces for VIPs, meetings, and events. Large windows in these areas offer striking views of the stadium, underlining the modern design principles of the renovation.
While Barcelona were hoping to return to Camp Nou by the end of the month, during the league game against Real Sociedad, that might have to wait.
The club are expected to face Sociedad at Montjuic instead. The same applies to their Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain.
However, given the recent, it appears the club can realistically hope to return to the iconic stadium somewhere in October.
