Two former members of the midfield ranks at Real Madrid were on Friday reunited with their one-time teammates in Spain’s capital. This came in the moments leading up to Los Blancos’ meeting with Real Betis.

José Mourinho’s troops are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front. With sights on a 4th win from four to open the new Spanish campaign, Real have made the trip to Seville, for a La Liga clash with Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis.

The fixture has given rise to reunions between a whole host of players, with the likes of Fran García and Dani Ceballos having swapped the Bernabéu for La Cartuja just this summer.

As the two teams lined up in the tunnel ahead of heading out onto the pitch for kick-off, ex-teammates therefore reconvened for warm embraces and conversations.

As showcased in the footage below, both the aforementioned Ceballos and Betis midfield partner Isco were spotted renewing acquaintances with current members of José Mourinho’s Real Madrid squad:
