The official Serie A YouTube channel uploaded the highlights from the early Sunday kickoff, which saw Lazio suffer a 0-2 defeat to Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico.
The experienced Matteo Politano proved to be a thorn in the Biancocelesti’s side. He created the opener by escaping Luca Pellegrini’s marking and delivering a cross to the back post, which was directed goalwards by the unmarked Leonardo Spinazzola with a volley that went through Ivan Provedel’s legs.
The Italian champions were then awarded a dubious free-kick later on the first half. Politano’s delivery found Amir Rrahmani through a sea of players. The Kosovar beat Provedel with a clinical header.

Eljif Elmas was guilty of squandering two glorious chances to open up a three-goal cushion. On the first occasion, his header brushed off the woodwork, while his second attempt whistled past the post.
In the 80th minute, Tijjani Noslin was given his marching orders after tripping Alessandro Buongiorno, which earned him a second yellow. Davide Massa then brandished another two red cards, as Adam Marusic and Pasquale Mazzocchi were embroiled in a brawl, while Antonio Conte tried his best to separate them.
In the final minutes, there were shades of the team’s heroics at the Tardini, as Lazio’s nine men almost scored a goal when Pedro’s free-kick was headed by Matteo Guendouzi, but the Frenchman’s powerful effort crashed against the bar.
