Real Madrid summer signing Carlos Espí on Saturday provided fans of his new club with a first glimpse of his talents in front of goal. This came courtesy of a decisive goal in Los Blancos’ latest friendly outing.

José Mourinho’s troops marked their return to action earlier this evening, making the trip to Budapest for a pre-season clash with Hungarian outfit Ferencváros.

The aforementioned Carlos Espí, fresh off taking his talents to the Bernabéu from La Liga rivals Levante, was forced to make do with a spot on the bench for the fixture.

Introduced off the bench for the 2nd-half, though, the young frontman wasted little time in making his impact felt…

With 48 minutes on the clock, Espí was teed up 12 yards from goal courtesy of a perfect pull-back on the part of Federico Valverde. And the 21-year-old made no mistake with his ensuing finish, picking out the bottom corner in style.
