Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger has made clear his frustration with his teammates in the aftermath of the club’s latest outing.

This of course comes fresh off a disappointing result for Los Blancos on Tuesday.

Real marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Bayern Munich to Spain’s capital for the first leg of a Champions League quarter-final tie.

When all was said and done, Álvaro Arbeloa’s troops emerged on the wrong side of the result, downed by two goals to one.

Along the way, the evening’s hosts were repeatedly guilty of surrendering possession cheaply, in particular during the opening 45 minutes.

And it was precisely such sloppiness which the aforementioned Antonio Rüdiger was quick to highlight when discussing the matchup during an exchange with the media post-match:

“We gifted them two goals. We f**ked up twice.

“At this level, you can’t keep losing the ball that easily…”

The German international was also keen to assure, though, that Real Madrid remain very much alive in the tie.
