Chelsea are right back in Premier League action again this weekend and have a chance to put the 3-1 defeat to Leeds United from Wednesday night behind them.

The Blues will need to bounce back and get all three points at Bournemouth in the 3pm kick off on Saturday if they are to want to keep within the title chasing pack.

Sources: Blues player was supposed to START the game for Chelsea v Leeds last night but didn’t come on until late!

Although, Gary Neville says that Chelsea shouldn’t even be in any title talk at the moment because they are ‘miles off’ challenging for the Premier League.

The Leeds game even saw a massive rant come from former Chelsea player Jason Cundy, who was not happy when reviewing the game on talkSPORT afterwards.

So the Bournemouth game has put things a little up in the air now and confidence has dropped once again.

Paul Merson on Sky Sports.

As cited on X, Merson said:

“Bournemouth have been shocking recently and Chelsea were brushed aside by Leeds after that incredible performance against Arsenal. I’m expecting goals in it, could be an entertaining draw.”

He’s gone for Bournemouth 2 Chelsea 2.

He was also unhappy with the Leeds performance

“We need to talk about Chelsea here. I don’t know what Enzo Maresca was doing with his team selection in the defeat to Leeds. As soon as I saw the line-up, I knew Chelsea weren’t going to win the game.

“Chelsea fans who are my age will know how important it is to win against Leeds. After Tottenham, this is the biggest game of the season for the older generation. But I don’t think this game was treated with that kind of seriousness. As a Chelsea fan, that performance frustrated me so much.”
