Ousmane Diakite has signed a one-year extension at West Brom, with several team-mates approaching the end of their deals this summer.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Albion activated a one-year option on the Malian midfielder after his recent form. Here is the current picture across the squad.

Goalkeepers: Max O’Leary joined in January on a six-month contract and is out of contract this summer. Josh Griffiths has agreed previous extensions and is tied down until next summer.

Defence: Chris Mepham signed a three-year deal last summer, running to summer 2028. Nat Phillips also agreed a three-year contract on arrival. Krystian Bielik’s agreement has two more years to run, while George Campbell’s four-year deal lasts until 2029 and Alfie Gilchrist signed a four-year contract last summer.

Midfield: Diakite’s new term runs to 2027. Isaac Price, recruited in January 2025 on a four and a half year deal, is contracted until 2029, and Jayson Molumby’s January 2025 extension keeps him until 2028. Alex Mowatt is signed through 2027, Harry Whitwell agreed a two-year deal last summer, and Ollie Bostock has another year left until 2027.

Attack: Jed Wallace’s four-year agreement expires at the end of this season. Aune Heggebo’s five-year contract runs to 2030. Josh Maja and Daryl Dike are among those out of contract this summer, while Tammer Bany’s deal ends in 2028.
