Brandon Thomas-Asante is on fire in the Championship at the moment, and FLW's West Brom fan pundit has no regrets over the sale.
This article is part of Football League World's 'Terrace Talk' series, which provides personal opinions from our FLW Fan Pundits regarding the latest breaking news, teams, players, managers, potential signings and more…
Brandon Thomas-Asante is the Championship's joint-top goalscorer with eight goals alongside Coventry City teammate Haji Wright after netting a brace in the Sky Blues' 2-1 away victory over Portsmouth on Tuesday night.
Coventry have been on fire this season, topping the Championship table after 11 games, netting 31 times and are the only team yet to lose in the entire EFL.
Manager Frank Lampard has got his side ticking nicely, and a large part of their success can be attributed to their attacking proficiency, possessing three of the four top goalscorers in the league at the moment.
Thomas-Asante and Wright are tied on eight goals each, whilst Victor Torp sits on six alongside Hull City's Oli McBurnie.
Having already earned four caps for Ghana and netted against Nigeria, Thomas-Asante's form saw him called up once more to the Black Stars' national side in the most recent international break, competing for places in attack with the likes of Antoine Semenyo, Mohamed Kudus and Abdul Fatwatu.
His eight goals combined with his three assists mean he has the most goals and assists in the Championship so far this season, but it hasn't always been like this for the Ghanaian international, who struggled to hit this sort of form for his previous club, West Brom.

The forward switched Baggies for Sky Blues last summer for roughly £2.25 million, and left the club with 21 goals and two assists in 78 matches - certainly not a bad record, but not one that Baggies fans would have been losing too much sleep over.
Following his dazzling form for Coventry, Football League World's Sky Blues fan pundit, Chris Deez, suggested 'he's starting to remind me a little bit of like prime Tevez', to which West Brom's fan pundit has responded to that claim.
Football League World's West Brom fan pundit, Callum, has shared his thoughts on the sale of Thomas-Asante and whether it was the right move for all parties, given his current form for Coventry.
Callum said: "I think considering Albion's situation at the time, they were in a position where they were needing to sell players.
"Asante left alongside Yokuslu and Townsend that summer, and if I remember correctly, there wasn't much time remaining on his contract either.
"I think remembering him in an Albion shirt, he had an eye for spectacular goals, but more often than not, his finishing in front of goal did end up letting him down, which he does seem to be turning things around at Coventry, so good on him.
"I think when you look at Albion's striking options now, when you've got the likes of Maja, hopefully Dike back soon, and Heggebo, personally, when those three are on their game, I wouldn't be swapping any of them for Asante.
"I think it's definitely ended up working out for all parties."

West Brom fans will no doubt be looking on at Thomas-Asante's form for Coventry with a bit of surprise and wondering why he was unable to hit this vein of form that he is doing for the Sky Blues.
However, they won't be filled with too much regret over his sale, having strong attacking options of their own.
Under head coach Ryan Mason, the Baggies can deploy the likes of Josh Maja, Daryl Dike, Aune Heggebo, Mikey Johnston, Jed Wallace, Isaac Price, Tammer Bany and Karlan Grant in attacking areas, all of whom are more than capable of scoring and creating at Championship level.
West Brom have struggled somewhat in front of goal this season, especially in comparison to Coventry, scoring 11 goals in 10 matches ahead of Wednesday's away clash with Watford, with Thomas-Asante having 11 goal contributions already on his own.
Mason will not be worried though, as he will be confident he can get his side scoring more on a consistent basis moving forward, in what is his first managerial job, and will be ignoring Thomas-Asante's exploits to focus on his side alone.
