West Brom will take a bumper following to Ewood Park on Bank Holiday Monday after another increase to their away allocation for a relegation clash.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Albion swiftly sold out their initial batch, then asked Blackburn to open the top tier of the Darwen End, usually shut for most games. Rovers agreed and the extra seats went, meaning James Morrison’s side will be backed by just under 7,400.

Home fans voiced frustration, and the mood hardened when Blackburn advertised an away end hospitality package to travelling supporters.

On Wednesday morning Albion announced they had been given a further 100 tickets by the hosts, which were made available to season ticket holders.

On X, some Blackburn supporters said the move would only look a mistake if Rovers lost, noting players are used to sizeable away followings and urging strong home backing. Others again questioned why relegation rivals were being given the full Darwen End.
