West Brom star to miss out this week confirms Morrison

West Brom winger Mikey Johnston will continue to miss out this week while his injury setback is assessed.

Johnston returned to action, following a fractured ankle in February, in West Brom’s opening game of the season but has since been sidelined.

He will miss out again when the Baggies face Newcastle and Middlesbrough this week.

“Mikey Johnston is out and he’ll continue to be assessed,” Morrison told the Express and Star. “He’ll miss the Middlesbrough game too.

“It’s something we’ll know more over the next couple of days. He’s being assessed.

“He’s probably as frustrated as anyone, but we’ll see what the days bring.”

In better news, however, Tammer Bany is set to be involved in the squad against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
