The Baggies are in talks with Blackburn to extend their away allocation to upwards of 7,000 supporters.
All connected with West Brom will be hopeful that their return to winning ways can see them secure Championship safety.
James Morrison’s men swept aside play-off hopefuls Hull City 3-0 in front of a raucous Hawthorns crowd last weekend, as goals from Josh Maja, Aune Heggebo and Isaac Price helped Albion claim their first league victory since the end of December and leapfrog out of the second tier relegation zone.
Since moving to a 4-4-2 formation after a damaging defeat away at Oxford United in Morrison’s first interim game, the Baggies have been able to be so much more free-flowing and dangerous going forward, while they seem to have struck the right balance in their defensive duties by keeping a first clean sheet in over a month too.
Meanwhile, the fact Albion scored three goals in a single game is a huge boost for the rest of the season, proving that this team can be clinical and put teams to the sword when they’re playing in the right system and positions.
Hope will be restored that the Baggies can take these positive performances and replicate them heading into the final eight games of the season.
One huge game in the context of Albion’s survival bid is away to Blackburn Rovers, with the game scheduled for Monday 6th April, with a 3pm kick-off.
A mammoth clash could be crucial to both sides securing their second tier futures, and Albion are set to bring a hefty number of away support, selling out their original 4,417 allocation.
And now the Baggies are in talks with Blackburn over extending the allocation even further, opening up another 2,979 seats.

West Brom confirmed via their X account today that they had sold out their original 4,417 allocation for their clash with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park in a few weeks.
And now Albion have revealed that they are in discussions with Rovers about allowing the travelling supporters to have access to the upper tier, which includes a further 2,979 seats.
If this is granted, the Baggies could be taking as many as 7,396 supporters to Lancashire, hoping to spur the team on to gaining another crucial three points.
The Black Country outfit have already laid on free coach travel, with 30 coaches transporting some supporters to and from Ewood Park on the day.
Albion’s statement on X read: “Our initial 4,417 seat allocation for the trip to Blackburn Rovers on Easter Monday has sold out.
“The club are in dialogue with Blackburn regarding the opening of the upper tier, which contains a further 2,979 seats.
“Thank you for your outstanding support, Baggies!”
There’s no denying that West Brom’s away trip to Blackburn Rovers will be their biggest game of the season, with the outcome of that match potentially deciding Albion’s fate in the second tier.
Since James Morrison has stepped back in on an interim basis, the players have reestablished the connection with the supporters, and that was on show as The Hawthorns was bouncing during their demolition job of Hull City.
Playing with that kind of heart and determination for the rest of the season should see Albion stay up comfortably, while the incredible support of the West Brom faithful will look to help drag the players through the rest of this relegation dogfight.
Having over 7,000 West Brom supporters in an away end would be the club’s highest allocation in a very long time, showing their dedication to the cause and willingness to roar this Albion team on every step of the way.
As long as the Baggies can keep the fans onside with more gritty performances like they showed against the Tigers, then that crowd can only benefit the team and help them claw their way to Championship survival.
